FBI Atlanta Arrests Miami, Florida Armed Robbery Subject

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, in conjunction with George L. Piro, Special Agent in Charge, FBI Miami Field Office, announces the following arrest yesterday at Conyers, Georgia.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015, FBI agents arrested Antron Latroy Langston, age 32, of Miami, Florida, without incident at a residence in Conyers, Georgia.

Langston was indicted by a federal grand jury on July 16, 2015, charging him with violation of the Hobbs Act (Title 18 USC 1951(a)) and the use of a firearm during the commission of a crime (Title 18 USC 924c). Those charges stem from a May 3, 2015 robbery of the One Stop Mini Mart, located at 6355 N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami, Florida. During that armed robbery, two individuals, later determined to be Langston and Dalton Armster, confronted the store clerk and forcibly took money from the register while pointing a firearm at the store clerk.

Armster was later arrested in Naples, Florida, but the investigation by the FBI and the City of Miami Police Department to locate and arrest Langston continued until today.

Langston was afforded his initial appearance yesterday in front of a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Atlanta, Georgia.

The above are merely allegations, and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
