Dekalb County, Georgia Armed Bank Robber/Fugitive Wanted

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, FBI Atlanta, requests the public’s assistance in locating the following fugitive wanted for his role in several violent armed bank robberies in the metro Atlanta area.

Lewis Jones, age 35, is wanted on State felony warrants obtained by the Dekalb County Police Department for his role in the August 12, 2014 violent bank robbery that occurred at the Navy Federal Credit Union located at 2470 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, Georgia (Dekalb County).

Jones is also a suspect in the September 9, 2014 armed robbery of the Regions Bank located at 1650 Cumberland Parkway in Smyrna, Georgia.

One co-defendant, Deandre Webb, awaits sentencing while another co-defendant, John Borders, awaits trial at Dekalb County.

Jones is described as being a black male, age 35, 6’0” in height, weighing 300 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
