ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta, along with Dekalb County Police Chief Cedric L. Alexander, requests assistance from the public in identifying and locating the individual responsible for today’s armed robbery of the PNC Bank branch located at 4855 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at approximately 10:28 a.m., a lone black male entered the PNC Bank branch at 4855 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, Georgia, and, while pointing a large-framed semi-automatic handgun at a teller, announced a robbery. The robber then jumped over the teller counter with a black canvas bag in his other hand and began gathering money from several of the teller drawers. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black male, late 30s to early 40s in age, 5’10” to 5’11” in height, stocky build, weighing approximately 200 pounds. The robber was wearing a black shirt, khaki or tan pants, a brown hat, and sunglasses. It appeared that he had a pillow or padding stuffed in his shirt and possibly something stuffed in his jaw or cheeks in an effort to disguise himself further.
