Suspect Arrested in Connection with Bank Robberies

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano, FBI Atlanta, announces the following arrest at Atlanta, Georgia:

On Friday, December 14, 2012, Revell Edwards, age 21, of Stockbridge, Georgia, was arrested by Atlanta Police officers assigned to the FBI’s Major Offender Task Force.

Edwards was wanted by Henry County authorities for the November 13, 2012 armed robbery of the SunTrust Bank on Eagles Landing Parkway and by the City of Morrow and Clayton County authorities for a December 4, 2012 robbery of a Wells Fargo bank there.

Edwards, currently in the custody of Henry County authorities, is now charged federally in connection with both of those bank robberies.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations, and all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
