Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in Villa Rica

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Lamkin, FBI Atlanta, in conjunction with the Villa Rica Police Department, requests the assistance of the public in identifying and locating the individual responsible for the July 1, 2011 armed robbery of the United Community Bank, located at 485 West Bankhead Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia.

On Friday, July 1, 2011, at approximately 2:03 p.m., a lone white male wearing a partial mask and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun entered the United Community Bank, 485 West Bankhead Highway, Villa Rica, Georgia, and demanded money from the teller while pointing the weapon directly at her. No injuries were reported during this aggressive armed robbery and, after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber was observed departing in a 2000 model Ford Explorer, four-door, gold or champagne color, with tinted windows.

The robber is described as being a white male, 20s to 30s in age, 6’3”- 6’4” in height, 230-240 lbs in weight, short red hair, armed with a silver and black semi-automatic handgun.
