Seeking Information on Armed Takeover Bank Robbery in Decatur

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Lamkin, FBI Atlanta, requests the assistance of the public in identifying and locating the individuals responsible for today’s armed takeover-style bank robbery at Decatur, Georgia.

On Friday, August 27, 2010, at approximately 10:15 a.m., two black males entered the Chase Bank, located at 2079 S Hairston Road (Hairston Crossing), Decatur, Georgia, and, while brandishing handguns, announced a robbery. All bank customers were forced to the floor while the robbers obtained an undisclosed amount of money. The robbers fled the bank in a burgundy red vehicle.

The robbers are described as:

1) Black male, 5’8”-5’10” tall, 160-170 lbs, 20s in age
2) Black male, 6’0” tall, 180 lbs, 20s in age
