December Bank Robbers Wanted by the FBI in New Mexico

The FBI and local police departments in New Mexico are looking for those responsible for committing two unsolved bank robberies last month (December 2015), as well as five in December 2014, one in December 2013, one in December 2012, and five in December 2011.

Although these robberies were previously publicized, the FBI is asking the public to take another look at the photos and descriptions for the following bank robberies. Anybody with information should immediately contact the FBI at (505) 889-1300.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robbery suspect.

December 12, 2015

  • Bank of Albuquerque, 10040 Coors Bypass NW, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: Two males: One suspect approximately 5’5” tall and weighed about 150 pounds. The other was about 5’7” and around 120 pounds. Both wore black ski masks and black gloves. One wore a black hoodie jacket, and the other’s jacket was gray. The suspects were seen leaving in a pewter or gold raised Chevrolet Silverado pickup with large knobby tires, black rims, dark tinted windows, and a turquoise New Mexico license plate.

  • Western Commerce Bank, 1910 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: White male, approximately 30 years old, 5’10” tall, about 180 pounds, with a medium build. He wore a black beanie, green sweatshirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses. He had a short beard.

  • BBVA Compass Bank, 6001 Academy Road NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: Black male, approximately 5’6” tall, weighing about 140 pounds. He wore a dark, knee-length trench coat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white cloth that covered his face, and white gloves.

  • New Mexico Bank & Trust, 3002 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: White (Hispanic) male, in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately 5’4” tall, with a medium or heavy build. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, a gray baseball cap, a black jacket, beige work gloves, beige boots, and dark pants. He had a short, graying beard.

  • Wells Fargo, 5555 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: Two males: Suspect #1 was described as a black male, approximately 6’0” to 6’2” tall. He had a medium build, weighed about 190 to 215 pounds, and had a Star of David tattoo on the back of his left hand. He wore a bandanna over the lower half of his face, a dark hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball cap, a black and gray jacket, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers with a blue logo. Suspect #2 described as a male who wore a Halloween skull mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, a gray trench coat, dark pants, and white sneakers.

  • Suspect description: White male, approximately 6’ tall, with a medium build. He wore a blue cotton jacket with a hood covering his head, dark pants, brown cloth gloves, and sport sunglasses. He had a thin blond mustache.

  • Wells Fargo, 3150 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe
  • Suspect description: White male in his early 30s, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, with a thin to medium build. He had gray or blue eyes. He wore a gray zip-up hooded sweater, a dark gray military-style cap, and dirty blue jeans. He had unshaven facial hair.

  • Suspect description: White male in his late 60s to early 70s, about 5’8” tall, weighed approximately 140 pounds, with a small build. He wore black-rimmed glasses, a dark jacket, and a green stocking cap. He was unshaven.

  • New Mexico Bank & Trust, 7021 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: White male in his mid-30s, approximately 5’8” tall, with a small build. He wore a black knitted hat; a black jacket with yellow trim around the waist, cuff, and collar areas; black jeans; and white tennis shoes with black shoe laces. He had a brown beard with no mustache.

  • US Bank, 2300 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: Two males: Suspect #1 described as a Hispanic or Native American male, approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 185 to 210 pounds with a stocky build. The suspect wore a bulky black jacket, ski gloves, black sweat pants, and a black ski mask or bandana over his face. Suspect #2 possibly Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He had a thin build and a light complexion. The suspect wore a black jacket, blue jeans, and a black ski mask or bandana over his face.

  • Bank of Albuquerque, 4201 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque
  • Suspect description: White (Hispanic) male in his mid- to-late 30s, dark complexion, brown eyes, about 5’7” tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds with a small build. He wore a gray and black beanie with an unknown design, a black, heavy jacket, blue jeans, and dark shoes. He had a mustache and chin hair, a deep voice and an unknown tattoo on the left hand.

  • Suspect description: White male in his mid-to-late 20s, about 5’10” tall with a small to medium build and light complexion. He wore a black baseball cap, a black scarf that covered his neck, a light brown heavy jacket, blue jeans, black gloves, and black or gray skater-type tennis shoes. He was clean-shaven.

  • Suspect description: White male in his mid-to-late 20s, about 5’10” tall with a small build, brown eyes, and light complexion. He wore a black beanie hat, a black scarf that covered his neck, a black and white plaid jacket, black gloves, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense, and the penalty increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
