Public Asked to Help Find Man Who Robbed Bank in Northwest Albuquerque

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a Washington Federal Bank branch in northwest Albuquerque on Tuesday, September 8.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build and brown hair.

He wore eyeglasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and long pants.

  

Witnesses said the suspect shortly before 3:43 p.m. entered the bank located at 3761 New Mexico 528 in Cottonwood Corners and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank and was seen walking east on NM 528.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300 or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, 505-843-STOP.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
