The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a woman who robbed U.S. Bank branch located at 5001 Montgomery Blvd. NE in Albuquerque on Friday, January 16, 2015.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic female with a light complexion and dark hair, approximately 20-25 years old, about 5’4” tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds.

She wore a dark baseball cap with a red or light-colored brim and a dark jacket and carried a large black purse slung over her shoulder.

Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank at approximately 5:55 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

Authorities are investigating whether this suspect could be linked to the robbery of the Bank of Albuquerque in Albuquerque on January 8, 2015 and the robbery of First Financial Credit Union in Gallup on January 10, 2015.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
