FBI Media Alert: Man Wearing Albuquerque Dukes Baseball Cap Robs U.S. Bank

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who wore an Albuquerque Dukes baseball cap when he robbed U.S. Bank branch located at 1418 Carlisle Blvd. NE on Friday, January 2, 2015.

The suspect is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, in his late 20s, approximately 5’6” tall, with a stocky build.

He had dark hair and brown eyes.

The suspect wore a beige jacket with a dark collar over a dark shirt, a light-colored baseball cap with a dark bill, an Albuquerque Dukes logo, and blue jeans.

Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank at approximately 5:26 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money. He also verbally demanded money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
