A man with a limp robbed BBVA Compass bank, 6001 Academy Road NE, in Albuquerque on Tuesday (12/23/2014).

The suspect is described as approximately 5’6” tall, about 140 pounds, with a deep voice and a noticeable limp.

He wore a light-colored cloth over his face, a dark jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and white gloves.

Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank at approximately 9:01 a.m. and displayed a black handgun while demanding money from a teller.

The suspect gave the teller a white plastic shopping bag to put the money in.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who was last seen walking east through the bank parking lot.
