First National Bank Branch in Santa Fe Bank Robbed

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are looking for a man who robbed First National Bank branch located at 4995 Governor Miles Road in Santa Fe, on Monday, May 5, 2014.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s and approximately 5’7” tall with a medium build.

He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants, and shoes. He had the hood covering his head and wore dark sunglasses and a black/blue bandanna with a white pattern on it covering his face.

Witnesses say the suspect entered the bank at approximately 9:15 a.m. and showed a handgun.

He pointed the weapon at the tellers and demanded money.

The tellers gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank on foot.

Authorities are investigating whether this suspect could be responsible for other bank robberies in the area.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
