Man Apprehended Minutes After Las Cruces Credit Union Robbed

Dominic Holland, 26, of Las Cruces, has been arrested in connection with the robbery on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, of First Light Federal Credit Union at 300 Foster Road in Las Cruces.

Holland’s initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Las Cruces still is to be determined.

Las Cruces Police arrested Holland minutes after the credit union was robbed.

Holland was turned over to the FBI.

Witnesses say a man walked into the credit union at approximately 9:45 a.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded money.

The teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the man, who left the credit union.

No further information will be released until after Holland’s court appearance.
