Arrest Made in Albuquerque Bank Robbery

Abran F. Armijo, 43, of Albuquerque, has been arrested in connection with the Wednesday afternoon robbery of BBVA Compass Bank, 13140 Central Ave. SE, near Tramway Boulevard SE.
Armijo is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Thursday.
Witnesses say a man walked into the bank shortly after 3 p.m. and demanded money from a teller after implying he had a weapon.
The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Albuquerque police officers arrested Armijo a short time later.
