Rio Rancho Bank Hit Twice

FBI and Rio Rancho Police are investigating whether an armed man who robbed First Community Bank on Wednesday could be responsible for hitting the same branch on November 24.
The latest robbery occurred about 2:50 p.m. at the bank at 1000 Commercial Drive.
Witnesses say a man wearing a baby blue hoodie, dark blue sweat pants with a white stripe down the legs, a tan bandana covering his face, and gray work gloves showed a handgun and demanded money.
He is described as about 5’8 with a medium build.
He was seen leaving the bank on foot in a westerly direction.
On November 24 at about 10:30 a.m., a man wearing a tan bandana over his face, dark gloves, and a blue coat with a hood used a handgun to rob the same bank. He was described as about 5’10 to 6’, with a medium build.
Nobody was injured in either of these robberies.
The FBI also is investigating whether this suspect and another could be related to two other First Community Bank robberies in Albuquerque.
A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s).
