Bank Robbed in Albuquerque Store

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are looking for a man who used a handgun to rob a bank inside an Albertson’s supermarket this evening.

The robbery occurred at the Bank of Albuquerque, 2801 Eubank Blvd. NE, at about 6:45 p.m. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black man, thin build, about 6’1” tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, with short hair and acne scars. He wore a red Ohio State University baseball-style cap and a black jacket.

He left the scene in an older model, white Toyota minivan with New Mexico plates that was driven by another person. It headed west on Candelaria Road.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject.
