Seeking Information on Armed Bank Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are investigating an armed bank robbery this afternoon by a man who wore a white ‘Scream’ horror movie mask.

The robbery occurred at First Community Bank, 8251 Golf Course Road NW, at a little after 4 p.m.

No one was injured.

The robber is described as about 5’8” tall with a medium to heavy build. He wore a blue sweatshirt, black hood, and black pants.

The subject used a handgun and ordered tellers to put money into a gym bag. He then ordered the employees and a customer into a backroom and left with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

Up to $1,000 in reward money is available for information that directly leads to the arrest of this robber.
