  • Northern District of New York (315) 448-0672

ALBANY, NY—United States Attorney Richard S. Hartunian and Clifford C. Holly, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Albany Division, announced that TIMOTHY PULSIFER, age 33, of Fort Covington, New York, was sentenced by the Honorable Norman A. Mordue in Federal District Court in Albany on his guilty pleas to an indictment charging him with three counts of transporting child pornography and one count of distributing child pornography.

In March 2010, undercover investigators received child pornography still images and videos, via the Internet, from PULSIFER. On July 8, 2010 investigators executed a search warrant at PULSIFER’s residence in Fort Covington and seized a computer that was used by PULSIFER to transmit the child pornography. PULSIFER pled guilty on November 18, 2010 to transporting and distributing child pornography still images and videos over the Internet.

PULSIFER was sentenced on May 26, 2011 to 121 months of imprisonment on each count of conviction, to run concurrently. Following his term of imprisonment PULSIFER will placed on supervised release for the remainder of his life. PULSIFER was also ordered to: (1) have no unsupervised contact with minors; and (2) register with the New York State Sex Offender Registry Program.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
