2016 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The motto, “ Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity,” succinctly describes the motivating force behind the men and women of the FBI.

The San Diego Division honors Pacifica Institute for its work on social justice and interfaith cooperation, particularly with respect to law enforcement. The institute and its San Diego director, Mesut Inci, work with local partners, including the FBI and the San Diego law enforcement community, to advance these goals. The institute also hosts community seminars bringing together imams, academics, and others to discuss preventing hate crimes and reducing potential radicalization.
