Criminal Justice Information Services - Harrison County Chapter of the Drug Free Clubs of America
2016 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient
The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division honors the Harrison County Chapter of the Drug Free Clubs of America (DFCA) for its work in identifying drug-free students, rewarding good choices, and empowering members with effective prevention tools to keep them on track. The DFCA was founded in 2005 by a group of firefighters in the Cincinnati, Ohio area as a solution to the drug abuse problem devastating young lives. By bringing together school, parent, and community efforts, members benefit from an overall positive sense of belonging. The program aims to motivate each student to stay drug free for life.
