On February 7, 2013, FBI Community Outreach Specialist Natosha R. Warner (above, center) visited Camelot Academy, an alternative school for students with severe criminal and violent behavior. Ms. Warner coordinated with the school’s Director of Student Services Howard Marcus (left) to take part in an intense discussion and workshop with the students. Also participating was Keith Isam Smith (right), who spent 37 years in prison and vowed that if he were ever released, he would share his story with disadvantaged and at-risk youth. Mr. Smith has dedicated his time, energy, and passion to the mission of speaking at more than 40 outreach events to convince youth and their families that a life of crime doesn’t pay.
