Media Advisory: Law Enforcement to Highlight Efforts to Combat Child Exploitation

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Following the sentencing of Kevin Garfield Ricks, 51, of Federalsburg, Md., for producing and possessing child pornography, law enforcement officials will hold a press availability to highlight their coordinated efforts to investigate and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children.

The court sentencing for Ricks is scheduled for tomorrow, May 26, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. before United States District Judge James C. Cacheris (10th floor). The availability will be directly after the hearing outside the Alexandria federal courthouse.
