On March 2, 2008, a hiker located a human skull in a desert area of
Benson, Arizona. An initial half mile radius was searched for other skeletal
remains, no additional human remains were found. One braided nylon cord
possibly from a piece of clothing, a sweat shirt with the name “Joker” on the right
sleeve, a pair of athletic shorts, a sole of a shoe, and a bath towel were located.
The cause of death and manner of death are undetermined.
