Abduction, Sexual Assault of a Minor

The FBI and the Isle of Wight County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's assistance in a case related to the stranger abduction and sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, on October 2, 2013. The child was returned home but the suspect remains at large.

The unknown suspect has freckles covering his entire face and body, bushy blond eyebrows, large full lips, a wide nose, and slightly yellowed teeth. At the time of the abduction he wore a thin blond jawline beard without a mustache and sometimes wore round, brown eyeglasses. He also wore cut-off blue jean shorts, a tan t-shirt, and brown and blue tennis shoes. The suspect is described as having slow speech.

The suspect drove a 1995 to 2001 silver Chevrolet Cavalier two-door vehicle (displayed above), bearing a Virginia inspection sticker. The vehicle had black/gray interior (not cloth), manual roll-down windows, automatic transmission, and a cracked dashboard with pieces missing. There were 3 homemade clay sculptures in the vehicle that appear to have been made by children. One sculpture was star-shaped and painted with black stripes, and the others were of unknown shapes and green and pink in color.
