Eduardo Estrada-Puentes is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of his estranged wife in Nevada. Estrada-Puentes allegedly strangled his wife to death at her residence in Elko, Nevada, on June 25, 2011.
Estrada-Puentes was charged with murder by the Elko Justice Court, County of Elko, State of Nevada, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest on June 29, 2011. A federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, District of Nevada, on July 8, 2011, after Estrada-Puentes was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Estrada-Puentes may have travelled to Utah, Arizona and California. He reportedly is known to be involved with drugs and gangs.
Estrada-Puentes has numerous tattoos that include the following: "Aztec Soldier" across his chest; "Pride" on the outside of his left forearm; "Brown" on the outside of his right forearm; two clown faces with the captions "Smile Now" and "Cry Later" on the top and inside of his right forearm; and a masked gunman and a clown grasping bundles of money on his upper right arm.
