    Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution - First Degree Murder, First Degree Battery

    Thinh Ngoc Ta is wanted for his alleged involvement in an altercation that occurred in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on August 13, 2000, in which two people were shot, one fatally. Ta was charged with first degree murder and first degree battery by the Sebastian County Circuit Court, Fort Smith District, Fort Smith, Arkansas, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest on August 14, 2000. A federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Western District of Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansas, on August 22, 2000, after Ta was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
