Juan Carlos Paredes is wanted for allegedly shooting a man to death while he sat in his vehicle at a bank parking lot in Los Angeles, California, on November 18, 2005. Paredes is believed to have fled the scene in a 1984 Ford Bronco, tan or white in color with a brown or red stripe, license plate number 4SDB488.
On November 21, 2005, a state arrest warrant was issued by the Los Angeles Superior Court after Paredes was charged with murder. A federal arrest warrant was issued on January 31, 2006, by the United States District Court, Central District of California, after Paredes was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Paredes may be diabetic, has possible kidney problems, and requires hospitalization on a regular basis. He is proficient with handguns. He may have fled to Guatemala.
