Reich was last seen in May of 1994 in Union City, New Jersey. He has ties to Argentina and Italy, and may be living in Israel with his wife and four children. | ||
CAUTION
Chaim Yehuda Reich operated a business known as Performance Enterprises, Inc. He is wanted for allegedly making false statements on loan applications submitted to a federal credit bank. In March of 1990, Reich and an associate obtained a loan for $500,000 from the Farm Credit Bank of Omaha in order to participate in the growing of turkeys in Nebraska. When the loan went into default and a collection was attempted, it was determined that the two men had allegedly used false names and identification papers when completing the loan application. They had also provided inaccurate and fictitious financial information regarding their ownership in properties and companies which were to serve as collateral for the loan. Although Reich's accomplice has since been arrested and pled guilty to the charges, Reich remains a fugitive.
