CAUTION
From 2005 through 2006, Richard Peter Albitre allegedly was involved with a drug trafficking organization which operated out of the Riverside County, California area. The organization allegedly was responsible for the shipment of large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine from California to Mississippi and Alabama where the drugs were distributed. The drugs were transported in load vehicles with concealed electronic compartments.
On April 26, 2007, a Federal Grand Jury in Mobile, Alabama, Southern District of Alabama, returned an indictment charging Albitre with two counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine. On April 30, 2007, the United States District Court, Southern District of Alabama, issued a federal warrant for Albitre's arrest.
