Percent Change
for Consecutive Years
January-December 2007
The FBI collects these data through the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program.
This table provides the percent change in offenses known to law enforcement for the Nation for consecutive years from 2003 through 2007.
The data used in creating this table were from law enforcement agencies submitting 6 or more common months of offense reports from 2003 through 2007. When the FBI determines certain variables have created unusual fluctuations in the data, those data are excluded from the trend tabulations.
