Mr. Schiff: Be careful of Internet Auctions. FBI Agent Ken McGuire has worked these cyber crimes...

Mr. McGuire: "Typically the stuff we've seen over the last four or five years have been non-delivery of merchandise or nonpayment for goods."

Mr. Schiff: McGuire says bad goods were sent to victims...

Mr. McGuire: "We're also seeing delivery of completely substandard or poor quality merchandise in many cases."

Mr. Schiff: McGuire says work-at-home schemes catch unsuspecting victims...

Mr. McGuire: "They provide their bank account information or they are provided with counterfeit checks which they then wire-transfer the proceeds to a European country and then find out the checks are counterfeit and end up losing twice the amount of the check from their own bank accounts."

Mr. Schiff: Been a victim? Contact the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center, IC3, at fbi.gov. I'm Neal Schiff of the Bureau and that's what's happening at the "FBI, This Week."
