Linn County Man Sentenced on Federal Child Pornography Charges

ST. LOUIS, MO—John M. Williamson, 36, formerly of Brookfield, Missouri, now residing in Florida, was sentenced to 51 months in prison for his possession of child pornography between November 2010 and September 2011. He pled guilty last December and appeared today for sentencing before United States District Judge John A. Ross, in St. Louis.
This case was investigated by the Kirksville Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kirksville Police Department, Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Brookfield Police Department, and Regional Computer Crimes Education and Enforcement Group (RCCEEG). Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Roy handled the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
