Reward in Missing Girl’s Case

FBI St. Louis August 08, 2011

Special Agent in Charge Dennis L. Baker of the FBI St. Louis Division has announced a reward in the disappearance of 3-year-old Breeann Rodriguez. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for the successful recovery and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for her disappearance, if she was abducted. In addition, the Senath Marshals Office is offering a reward of up to $20,000 with the same criteria, making the total reward up to $45,000.

Breeann disappeared August 6, 2011 (Saturday) from near her home on Ode Johnson Street in Senath, located in Missouri’s bootheel. She was last seen at approximately noon riding her pink bicycle with training wheels. She was wearing a pink top, and pink and purple pants. Breeann’s pictures can be found on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s website.

At a news conference this afternoon, Breeann’s parents made an emotional plea and thanked the community for their prayers and support.

We are asking for information on a white van that was seen in the area a few days prior to Breeann disappearing. The van is a cargo-type van with no side windows and a ladder mounted on the rear.

The Senath Police Department, along with the FBI Task Force, Dunklin County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kennett Police Department, and the Bootheel Drug Task Force are investigating the disappearance by air, land, and water. The Gateway Search Dogs from St. Louis are also helping with the search.

Anyone with information can call and remain anonymous. People can call the FBI’s command post at (314) 791-1205.

On a related topic, the FBI has launched a new free mobile app that allows parents a convenient way to electronically store their children’s pictures and information. If their child goes missing, parents will literally have the information at hand and with a few clicks can send the information to law enforcement. The app also includes safety information and what parents should do in the critical moments after a child goes missing. For more information, visit our website, www.fbi.gov.
