Serial Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

Assistant Special Agent in Charge Michael Kaste has announced the arrest of 21-year-old Cornell Hill. Special agents arrested Hill Monday (7/26) evening around 6:30 p.m. at a hotel in North St. Louis. Hill, who is from the St. Louis area, is suspected of recently robbing three local financial institutions:

7/26/10           Commerce Bank
                        4401 Natural Bridge
                        St. Louis, Missouri

7/23/10           St. Louis Community Credit Union
                        7345 W. Florissant
                        Jennings, Missouri

7/19/10           Alliance Credit Union
                        9050 W. Florissant
                        Jennings, Missouri

In all three robberies, the robber used a demand note, the surveillance photos of the robber are similar and witness accounts are similar. The FBI received a tip which identified Hill from the excellent quality of the surveillance photos.
