Shelby County Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Child Pornography Charges

ST. LOUIS, MO—The United States Attorney’s Office announced today that Mark Allan Lightle pleaded guilty to federal charges of receiving child pornography in October 2008.

MARK ALLAN LIGHTLE, Shelbina, Missouri, entered a plea to one felony count of receipt of child pornography this morning before United States District Judge Jean C. Hamilton. Sentencing has been set for July 30, 2010.

Receipt of child pornography carries a penalty range of five to 20 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

This case was investigated by the St. Charles Cyber Crime Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
