FBI and SLMPD Police are Searching for a Bank Robber

At 11:45 a.m. today, a man robbed the Bank of America at 6639 South Kingshighway in St. Louis, Missouri.

The robber spoke briefly with the teller then left saying he needed to get his wallet. When he returned moments later, the teller recognized him and motioned him to come to her station. That’s when the robber demanded, “Give me all your money. I’m not playing, give me all your money.” The robber never displayed a weapon, but threatened to hurt the teller.

After the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money, the robber ran north on Kingshighway. There is no vehicle description.

The robber is described as a black male in his 40’s or 50’s with graying hair near his temples. He stands about 5’6” to 5’10” and weighs between 140 to 150 pounds. He was wearing round-rimmed glasses with a blue baseball cap with the orange letter “T” on front.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, this person may have allegedly robbed at least three other non-bank businesses (two Walgreens and Deals) in the last two weeks. In those three robberies, the robber wore the same type of baseball cap and round-rimmed glasses.
                                                                                    
Based on the description and pictures, we DO NOT believe the person who robbed this bank is the same one who robbed any of the other four banks within the past seven days.

This is the 45th bank robbery so far this year in the St. Louis Division, which covers the entire eastern half of Missouri.
