FBI Joins the Cheney Police Department in the Search for Jacquelynne Rose Doucette, a Missing 15-Year-Old Girl from Cheney, Washington

***12/7/14 Update: Jacquelynne Rose Doucette, 15 years old, has been located safely in Cheney, Washington. She appeared at her family’s house this morning. Jacquelynne’s family reported her missing around 7:30 p.m. on the Thanksgiving holiday, November 27, 2014, after she had not immediately returned home from a search for a lost animal.

Jacquelynne appears to be in good health but is receiving a thorough medical examination. Investigators at the FBI and the Cheney Police Department will continue to gather and review information about Jacquelynne’s disappearance and return.


The FBI is assisting the Cheney Police Department in searching for missing 15-year-old Jacquelynne Rose Doucette. Jacquelynne’s family reported her missing around 7:30 p.m. on the Thanksgiving holiday, November 27, 2014, after she did not immediately return home from a search for a lost animal. Investigators were able to place Jacquelynne inside a Cheney-area business on November 28, 2014 at approximately 11:00 a.m.

While Jacquelynne has left home for short periods on several prior occasions, she has never stayed away for any extended period of time and would have normally contacted family members. Jacquelynne is not believed to have access to medication she requires and consequently may be in a mental state in which she could be easily manipulated.

Jacquelynne is white, 4’8” tall, 98 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with a hood and a white fur collar, blue jeans, and pink tennis shoes with purple polka dots.
