A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the damage to and defacement of a vehicle with racial and religious epithets in Chelan, Washington, on Saturday, September 1, 2012.

On Saturday, September 1, 2012, a passenger vehicle was damaged and defaced with racial and religious slurs. The incident occurred between 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of W. Woodin Avenue and Waterslide Drive in Chelan, Washington. The FBI is investigating this matter as a potential hate crime. The incident occurred at the location depicted in the image below:

As a part of this ongoing investigation, the FBI is seeking any information that may resolve the identity of the person or persons responsible for this crime. Anyone with information regarding this incident is requested to immediately contact the FBI. In addition, anyone who took photographs or video of this area on Saturday, September 1, 2012, is requested to contact the FBI as soon as possible.
