FBI Seeks the Public’s Help in Identifying the Valentine’s Day Bandit

The FBI’s San Francisco Field Office, Burlingame Police Department, and San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who is believed to have robbed two banks on the Peninsula;
- January 10, 2014: Chase Bank, 10 S. El Camino Real, Millbrae, California
- February 14, 2014: Bank of the West, 149 Park Rd. Burlingame, California
Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 50-60 years in age, between 5’5” and 5’10” tall, with a slim build, sunken-in cheeks, possible acne scars on face, and a possible skin discoloration on the back of his neck.
The suspect was last seen wearing sunglasses and a gray- or tan-colored suit. During the robberies, he wore a black beanie-style hat with leopard print and a white prayer-style hat with embroidering. A handgun was displayed during the Chase Bank robbery in Millbrae, California.
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
