San Diego Woman Charged with Robbing Navy Federal Credit Union
Suspect Arrested by San Diego Police Officers Responding to Robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and San Diego Police Department (SDPD) are announcing the arrest and filing of federal criminal charges against Elizabeth Marie Price, age 27, of San Diego, California. The charges are the result of the investigation conducted following the robbery of the Navy Federal Credit Union, 10645 Tierrasanta Boulevard, Suite E, San Diego, California, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
According the to the federal complaint filed in this matter with the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, San Diego, California, case number 13MJ1774, Price is charged with one count of violating Title 18, United States Code, 2113(a), bank/credit union robbery.
According to the complaint, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at approximately 12:15 p.m. the Navy Federal Credit Union, located at 10645 Tierrasanta Boulevard, Suite E, San Diego, California, was robbed by an unknown female. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was described as a Hispanic female wearing a dark grey beanie cap, a dark grey long sleeve sweater, and dark sunglasses, age approximately late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’2” to 5’3” tall. The unknown female presented a demand note to the victim teller and threatened to “shoot everyone” if she did not receive money.
The victim teller, fearing for her life and the lives of others, provided the robber with a sum of money. The SDPD was notified of the robbery and also that an electronic tracking device had been taken from the credit union. Following a short vehicle pursuit, SDPD detained a female, later identified at Elizabeth Marie Price. Price was in possession of a small brown paper bag with a demand note and U.S. currency inside the bag. During a curbside lineup, Price was identified as the person who robbed the Navy Federal Credit Union earlier that day. In a subsequent interview with FBI agents and an SDPD robbery detective, Price admitted to robbing the credit union.
Price was booked into the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) and has a detention hearing scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the federal courthouse. This case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), Southern District of California.
