FBI and Oceanside Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Wells Fargo Bank Robber

The FBI and Oceanside Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2701 Vista Way in Oceanside, California, on Monday, February 4, 2013.

On Monday, February 4, 2013, at approximately 5:08 p.m., the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2701 Vista Way in Oceanside, California, was robbed by an unknown male. The robber walked into the bank and waited in line until summoned by a teller. The robber walked up to the teller counter and verbally demanded money from the teller. The robber made the same demand from two other tellers.

After receiving money from all three tellers, the robber walked out the bank. The robber was last seen entering the passenger side door of a silver or light gold-colored, four-door sedan. No injuries were reported and no weapon observed.

Witnesses described the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White/Hispanic
  • Height: Approximately 5’8” tall
  • Weight: Approximately 150 to 170 pounds
  • Age: Mid 20s
  • Eyes: Unknown
  • Hair: Black ponytail, clean shaven
  • Clothing: Gray hooded sweatshirt jacket, beanie cap with “Harley Davidson” emblem, black gloves, and aviator-type sunglasses
  • Vehicle: Silver or light gold colored four door sedan
