FBI and San Diego Police Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Chase Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Chase Bank, located at 9450 Scranton Road, San Diego, California, on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

On Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown male robbed the Chase Bank, 9450 Scranton Road, San Diego, California, using a demand note. The note threatened that the robber was armed with a weapon, but a weapon was not displayed. After receiving a sum of money the robber walked out of the bank.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: Black
Age: Mid 20’s to early 30’s
Height: 5’8” - 5’10” tall
Weight: 185 - 200 lbs.
Build: Medium
Clothing: Black baseball cap, black sport coat, blue jeans, dark dress shoes, and light brown framed sunglasses
Weapon: Threatened not observed
