FBI and San Diego Police Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Comerica Bank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Police Department (SDPD) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Comerica Bank, 3361 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, California, on Monday, July 12, 2010.

On Monday, July 12, 2010, at approximately 4:00 p.m., an unknown male robbed the Comerica Bank, 3361 Rosecrans Street, San Diego, California. During this robbery, the robber approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money. The robber pulled up his shirt and displayed the handle of semi-automatic pistol. The robber demanded that the teller place the money into a black backpack the robber was carrying. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and placed a sum of money into the backpack. After receiving a sum of money the robber walked out of the bank. The robber carried a skateboard with him and his face was covered with a green paisley colored bandana that covered the robber’s nose and mouth.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Late 20’s to early 30’s
Height: 5’9” – 5’11” tall
Build: Slender
Weight: Approximately 160 lbs.
Clothing: Black beanie cap, black gloves, black backpack, black sweatshirt, black pants, dark colored skater shoes, green paisley colored bandana, carried dark colored skateboard with two flips at one end of skateboard.
Weapon: Black semi-automatic pistol
