FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance to Identify Masked Female Bank Robber

The FBI and local law enforcement are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown female responsible for robbing the San Diego National Bank, 13395 Poway Road, Poway, California, on Tuesday, September 29 2009.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at approximately 11:00 a.m. a teller was at his/her teller station when the teller was approached by an unknown female, hereinafter referred to as the robber. The robber held what appeared to be a black semi-automatic handgun in her right hand. The robber’s appearance was obscured by her sweatshirt worn with the hood pulled up and what appeared to be a clown mask covering her face.
While pointing the handgun at the teller, the robber yelled at the teller to get down. The robber set a blue and black duffel bag on the teller counter and ordered the teller to put cash in the bag. The robber held the bag open with a hand on each handle of the bag and the handgun in her right hand still pointed at the teller. After receiving the teller’s money, and unsuccessfully attempting to obtain more money from another bank employee, the robber fled the bank on foot leaving through the east doors of the bank.
The robber is described as follows;
- Sex: Female
- Race: White
- Age: Approximately 25 – 30 years old
- Height: 5’4
- Weight: Approximately 130 - 140 lbs.
- Build: Petite
- Hair: Dark
- Clothing: Dark blue hooded zip-up sweatshirt jacket with a light colored star on the back, black Capri pants, and white sneakers.
- Loot container: Blue and black duffel bag
- Weapon: Black semi-automatic handgun
- Mask: Clear plastic clown mask with red paint on the face
- Gloves: Light fabric gloves
