Jesus Albino Navarro-Montes Arrested in Mexico

On February 11, 2009, federal officers with Mexico's Agencia Federal de Investigación, in an operation coordinated with the FBI and the United States Marshals Service, arrested Jesus Albino Navarro-Montes near Zihuatanejo, Mexico on a warrant for his provisional arrest pending extradition for U.S. drug charges. He is currently in Mexican custody.

Navarro-Montes is wanted for questioning relating to the San Diego FBI investigation of the January 19, 2008 death of United States Border Patrol Agent Luis Aguilar in Imperial County, California.
