FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance to Identify the “Double Layer Bandit”

The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male dubbed the “Double Layer Bandit.”

On Monday, February 8, 2010, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a lone male entered the Chase Bank, located at 2778 Via de la Valle Road, San Diego, CA. The robber verbally threatened the teller by saying he had a gun.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

Sex: Male
Race: White
Age: Late teens to early 20s
Height: Approximately 5’8” to 5’10”
Build: Skinny
Hair/Coloring: Brown hair/pale skin
Clothing: Grey hooded sweatshirt with a dark t-shirt worn over it, dark shorts, black socks, white sneakers, black cloth wrapped around bottom half of his face.
