Jerome Mancuso Found Guilty in U.S. Federal Court

The United States Attorney’s Office announced that on October 7, 2011, in Billings, after a federal district court trial before Chief U.S. District Judge Richard F. Cebull, JEROME MANCUSO, a 42-year-old resident of Billings, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, distribution of cocaine, and maintaining drug involved premises. Sentencing is set for January 12, 2012. He is currently released on special conditions.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys James E. Seykora and Bishop Grewell prosecuted the case for the United States.
The verdict by the jury in this case shows that the law applies equally to everyone, regardless of an individual’s standing in the community,” said United States Attorney Michael W. Cotter, District of Montana. “The United States Attorney’s Office sincerely appreciates all of the local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies that participated in the larger drug investigation related to the case against this defendant and others.”
MANCUSO faces possible penalties of 20 years in prison, a $1,000,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
The investigation was conducted by a cooperative effort between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
