FBI Safe Online Surfing (SOS) Program
This program helps students, parents, and teachers better understand the potential dangers associated with the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms, and social networking sites. Participating children sign into a designated website, learn about safety information, and then take a quiz to test their knowledge.
In December 2008, the Richmond Division Community Outreach Specialist distributed FBI SOS packages to the 100+ school superintendents in the Richmond Division, asking for their support of this program.
