Director’s Community Leadership Award

The Director’s Community Leadership Award was created in 1990 as a way for each field office to publicly recognize individuals or organizations that have made a tremendous difference in combating crime, drugs, terrorism, and violence in their local communities.

2011 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

Mr. Ian M. Danielsen, coordinator of the Greater Richmond Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a dedicated child advocate and supporter of the FBI’s investigative efforts to keep children safe. He opened the Richmond area’s first CAC in 2004. The CAC provides resources such as child forensic interviews, mental health treatments, medical services, and victim advocacy and case tracking.
