FBI Director Robert S.
Mueller, III, today announced the appointment of the
following individuals to key posts:
Tod Alan Hildebrand,
Deputy Assistant Director, Operational Support Branch,
Laboratory Division: Mr. Hildebrand entered on duty
with the FBI in 1979 and has served in the Washington,
DC, New Haven, Philadelphia, San Antonio, and Sacramento
field offices. Most recently, Mr. Hildebrand has served
at FBI Headquarters as a Section Chief in the Laboratory
Division where he oversees the Laboratory Division's
fiscal, personnel, quality assurance, project management,
training, physical assets, and security matters.
James E. Farnan,
Deputy Assistant Director, Cyber Division: Mr. Farnan
began his career with the FBI in September 1984 and
has served in the Houston, New Orleans, and Las Vegas
field offices. While at FBI Headquarters, Mr. Farnan
served as a supervisor in the Office of General Counsel
and in the Drug Section of the Criminal Investigative
Division. Most recently, Mr. Farnan has served as an
Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Las Vegas field
office where he is responsible for the day-to-day management
of all investigative programs.
Keith A, DeVincentis,
Special Agent in Charge, Albany, New York Field Office:
Mr. DeVincentis entered on duty with the Bureau in 1974
and has served in the Washington, DC, San Diego, and
Denver field offices. While at FBI Headquarters, Mr.
DeVincentis served as a supervisor in the White Collar
Crime section. Then, in March 1999, Mr. DeVincentis
was promoted to the position of Section Chief in the
Laboratory division where he most recently has served
as Chief of the investigative Support Section.
