Warm Springs Police Shooting Investigation Completed

The United States Attorney’s Office has notified the FBI that it will not pursue criminal charges against Warm Springs Police Officer Levi Dowty related to the line-of-duty shooting death of Vernon Middleton that occurred on March 20, 2011. This decision was the result of an independent investigation conducted by the FBI and Oregon State Police.
